Accessible by funicular from Vieux Lyon, the hilltop district of Fourvière revolves around the richly decorated basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière. The metal tower of Fourvière, which looks like a small Eiffel tower, overlooks the shaded park of the Heights. Open-air concerts are organized in the Gallo-Roman theater, connected by a tunnel to the Gallo-Roman museum of Lyon-Fourvière, which houses treasures from the Roman era. Breweries are concentrated at the foot of the hill.
